The Chick and the Pig

this place is takeout only. The smash burger was delicious (3 patties) and the notorious PIG was awesome. Great service not much ambience because it is just a small area you can order and pick up food. I would love to see them open up some sort of sit down that would be amazing. I will definitely be back and tell friends.

The Chick and The Pig... see the picture for the order. While ordering we weren't sure about which menu to order from because there are 3 different ones depending on where you search. Ordered from their website, which was very confusing. You have an option to remove a bunch of toppings from the 50/50 burger, which are not in the description, so you might assume you're getting the toppings- just as confusing as me trying to explain it. Anyway, this 50/50 sandwich - nothing special. I took out pieces of the meats to try by itself- no seasoning on the burger, very light smoke if any on the pork, loaded with coleslaw and bbq sauce so that's where the flavors were but a good size sandwich. Fried chicken- texture of breading was almost like corn meal, juicy, decent flavor but nothing exciting. Good size on the wings but texture was not so good- with carryout only, they should have been waaay more crispy to hold up to the travel - very soggy and the hot sauce was mild at best, BBQ sauce was good. Good potatoes with gravy. Good - creamy - slightly sweet coleslaw. Really good Mac N Cheese. Good but not unique beans. For the money, a good amount of food with leftovers for tomorrow. We didn't hate it, but we won't be in a hurry to go back.

I ordered the brisket sandwich, which was flavorful, juicy and generous portions. Used the Carolina bbq which was a perfect sauce they have several to choose from. I had to grab a couple pieces of fried chicken too, Some of the best I’ve ever had. Sides came with both, the Mac and cheese was great the fries were heavily seasoned but good. The honey butter on the biscuit sealed the deal. Solid spot

If your Someone that is up late and you need something other than McDonald’s this is the place!!! Open till 3am on Fridays the wings were really good and my friend destroyed his smashed burger so I imagine it was pretty good. I would recommend you stop by please help support small businesses like this one !!!

Ordering online was super easy and the time it told me the food would be ready was spot on. The bag that they put the food in got wet somehow on the bottom and busted open so we had to carry it awkwardly in the house. They said that they had jumbo wings but they weren't big at all. The meat itself wasn't seasoned but the BBQ sauce was delicious. The mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were delicious, just needed some more salt and pepper! Spent $60 and only fed 2 people.

If my son could eat Chick and Pigs Chicken Waffles at every meal he would. Deb’s baked beans are the only he will eat, I make them at home forget it he won’t touch it. Thank goodness this place is take out or they’d think I simply don’t know how to cook. Pay for the extra bbq sauces your taste buds won’t be disappointed!!
